| I'm sooooo glad this past weekend is over.... It all seemed so surreal, and I don't even remember half of it. I guess that's a good thing though. I'm just ready to get back to my normal routine...class, clubs, friends, softball. Everything is still a little foggy, but hopefully that will go away soon. U2 in less than a month!!!!!  I love U2. | So this week has been a mixture of good and bad... The good part is that I'm loving this year so far...my life has almost done a complete 180. I'm actually doing all the things I said I would do this year, and I've already made a lot of close new friends. Bad part...Miss Kelly, my best friend Marcie's mom, died of breast cancer today. I'm so upset...Miss Kelly was like my second mom when I was a kid, and I loved her like one. I think what upsets me more though is how devastated Marcie is...I HATE seeing her like this...I've cried today just thinking about how upset she is. I was going to skip class and go home tonight, but Marcie wants to be alone...which I understand. I'm going home tomorrow though...funeral is on Sunday. I just don't understand why this happened to Miss Kelly...she was such a good person...she and her family-especially Marcie-didn't deserve this. I love U2. Have a nice day. | | |
| So we definitely got our asses kicked...11 to 0. Haha it was SO much FUN though!!! It felt so good being back on the field, especially with all my friends from GSA cheering us/me on. =) We have practice every Tuesday and Thursday night at 8 now...so I'll be doing that later. | Woo! So I joined an intramural softball team with some friends, and our first game is on Monday...right after our first practice, which is on Sunday...hahaha this should be interesting. I'm kinda nervous, but really really excited. It'll be good to get back into softball again, even if it isn't the competitive fastpitch I used to play. Hmm...yeah that's about it. Just wanted to document that. Oh yeah, and I haven't even been home for a day (had to come up to get my gear), and I already miss my apartment. This year is already SO different from last year, and I love it!!!! Can't wait to get back down to GSU on Sunday!!! =) I love U2. Have a nice day. | | |
| Ugh, haven't updated in almost a month. It's hard to believe summer is over already...it could not have flown by any faster. I miss it a little, but school's going great so far and I love my apartment, so...it's okay. =) I got into a really good workout routine in July, but I've kinda lost it this past week cause I've been so busy with moving in and school. I plan on getting back into it though...especially now that I have the RAC. Love that place. Oh yeah, ASHLEA GOT A JOB!!!!!!! AHHHHHH!!!!!!! =) She got the call on move-in day!!! It was pretty much the BEST day ever...my whole family just hugged her and cried. =P We're so happy for her...she worked so hard. Now she's officially a third grade teacher for kids with learning disabilities. =) Hmm...I'm going to Savannah with Courtney this weekend...we'll be staying with Kara in her new house! =) That should be fun...and I'll probably be going home for Labor Day weekend to keep Ashlea company since Mom and Dad will be away on their anniversary trip. That's pretty much it for now...I'll update more frequently now that I'm all settled. CAN'T WAIT UNTIL OCTOBER 6TH!!!!!!!!!!! I love U2. Have a nice day. | | |
